Ex vacuum leak detector in a two-part version:
The leak detector VLXE .. A-Ex MV is weather- and explosion-proof and can be installed in Ex zone 1.
The versions VLXE .. A-Ex MV or VLXE .. A-Ex MV with ZD allow overpressures in the interstitial space of up to 25 bar or up to 90 bar, respectively.
The associated weatherproof leak indicating unit LAE .. PMMV with integrated digital manometer and leak tightness detection function is installed outside an Ex area.

PIPES:
Double-walled sufficiently pressure-resistant pipes and fittings made of metal or plastic in factory- or site-manufactured versions.
STORED PRODUCTS:
Water-polluting liquids. The (possible) explosive vapor-air mixtures (also those that can be formed through the stored/conveyed liquids in contact with air, humidity, condensation, or the materials used) must be classifiable into gas group II A to II B3 as well as in the temperature code T1 to T4. Example: petrol.
Special versions with detonation flame arresters type F 502 extend the range of application to explosion group IIB + H2.

Leak detector (device category 2): zone 1, outdoors
Leak indicating unit: outside of Ex areas, inside a building or outdoors

VLXE .. A-Ex MV: stainless steel box / IP 66 / -40 °C .. +55 °C
LAE .. PMMV: stainless steel box / IP 66 / -40 °C .. +60 °C
PRESSURE RESISTANCE (maximum pressure in inner pipe):
VLXE .. A-Ex MV: 25 bar equipped with solenoid valve
VLXE .. A-EX MV mit ZD: 90 bar equipped with solenoid valve with additional pressure switch ZD

QU8/6: Quick union ferrule for polyamide (PA) hose 8/6x1mm
CF8/6: Compression ferrule for copper (CU) pipe 8/6x1mm or polyamide (PA) hose 8/6x1mm
ss-CF8/6: Stainless steel compression ferrule for stainless steel (ss) pipe 8/6x1mm or polyamide (PA) hose 8/6x1mm
!With plastic pipes observe required pressure resistance!
