LS 50

There are different versions of leak detections probes depending on the intended use.

TYPE:

LS 50

The indicating device C (for wall mounting) offers optical and acoustical alarm signals as well as a potential-free relay contact for alarm forwarding.

Two different sensors can be connected in the following combinations:

FS with FS, LS, KS, KVS or LS with FS, KS, KVS

The indicating device A (top-hat rail mounting) offers an optical alarm display and a potential-free relay output for alarm forwarding.

Any sensor can be connected (1 sensor).

Different sensors for different applications:

Float switch (FS), activation height approx. 3 cm

Conductivity sensor (LS), activation height < 3 mm

Capacitive sensor (KS), activation height < 5 mm

Capacitive sensor with fleece (KVS), activation height < 1 mm

MONITORING OF:

Collecting chambers, collecting pans, monitoring chambers and shafts

PRODUCTS:

Liquids with a density higher than 0,7 g/cm3 that do not affect the respective probe material.

The flash point of the liquid to be monitored must not require any explosion protection measures.

The international hazardous substances law provides for a limit of > 60 °C; national regulations may differ, so Germany with > 55 °C.

INSTALLATION:

Leak indicating unit and sensors outside of Ex areas

HOUSING / IP RATE:

Leak indicating units A and C: plastic box (pl-box) / IP 30

TEMPERATURE RANGE:

Leak indicating unit: -0 °C .. +40 °C
