If the flash point of the liquid to be monitored requires explosion protection measures, the VLXE .. M can only be used on pressureless tanks.
Otherwise the VLXE .. M can also be used on tanks or pipes with up to 5 bar overpressure.
The international hazardous substances law sets a limit of > 60 °C. National regulations may vary, so in Germany > 55 °C.
